Privacy Policy, Privacy Agreement
Myclublink.com LLP (“Myclublink”, “we”, the “site”) operates Myclublink.com, the online community for active people. We provide lots ways (“services”) for helping users meet others they share similar interests with and allow clubs to build and grow their membership bases. By accessing or using our website at www.Myclublink.com you (the "User", “Member” “Club”) signify that you have read, understood and agreed to be bound by this Privacy Policy, whether or not you are registered with Myclublink.com. This Privacy Policy applies to any Service’s and/or Site’s offered by Myclublink and is in conjunction with our Term’s of Use. Although We ask for personal information in order to allow You to make the most of our Service’s, We also allow You to control how much information others see through your privacy settings, meaning You can have peace of mind knowing that your identities are safe. Please look at these when you register and make sure You are happy with what others can view.
As We are a UK based company and our Services are hosted in the UK, by accessing and using our Services You are agreeing that if You live outside the UK any personal details will be transferred and stored in the UK.
We will never knowingly collect or store any details of Users under the age of 13, as is outlined in the Terms of Use.
At our sole discretion, we reserve the right to change, modify, add, or delete parts of this Privacy Policy at any time without further notice. Any changes will be posted on our Myclublink.com home page. It is the responsibility of the User to check for changes in the Privacy Policy. If you continue to use Myclublink.com after any such changes, this constitutes your acceptance of the new Privacy Policy.
Information Collection and Use
When you register with the Site you are asked for your email address (so we can send you a password and allow you to invite friends etc.), first and last name, gender, date of birth and your main interest or activity. We cannot register you unless you enter these details and we need the information for security reasons, for instance, if you forget your login details. Myclublink can change the registration details at any time without prior notification. Any other information you register is completely voluntary and at the Users sole discretion. Myclublink users may modify or remove any of their personal information at any time by logging into their account and accessing features such as Edit Profile and Settings.
If you tell us about your interests and the clubs you are a member of we may allow third party companies to advertise their services to you with no obligation to yourselves. Information you provide the Site with may be used to tell us about your interests and hobbies, lifestyle choices, where you went to school or what you do for a living. Please be aware that your profile information, as well as any information posted to any public forum, can be accessed by the public. Profile information located on private profiles can be accessed by Myclublink at all times. Myclublink reserves the right to change any settings within Myclublink profile pages without prior notification. However, this will not affect your personal privacy.
If you decide to close your account on Myclublink.com, all personal information you entered onto the Site in the registration process will be deleted on completion of the account closure. Please be aware that any messages, comments, photos, videos and/or any information, either shared with, or entered onto, Myclublink may not be deleted on completion of the account closure. It is your responsibility to manage what information you post on Myclublink and who you share this information with.
Use of Cookies
Cookies are bits of information that allow for the collection of certain aspects of a User’s activity within the internet.
Myclublink does use cookies to remind users of information such as ‘keep me logged in’ and ‘remember my login details’. These cookies are stored on the individual user’s computer to benefit the user but can be disabled if the user does not want them active.
Third party advertising companies in the Site may also use cookies. Myclublink does not control these cookies and it is therefore the responsibility of the User to check the privacy policy of the advertising website to see whether and how they use their cookies and/or any other means of data collection if users enter these sites from our own. Our privacy policy only governs information collected on Myclublink.com. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other websites so we encourage our users to be aware when they leave our site to read the privacy statements of each and every website that collects personally identifiable information.
Communications with non-users
Myclublink allows users to invite their friends and colleagues to join the Site. Users can send invitation emails using our Address Finder. Myclublink will never send any other communications besides invitations and will never allow third party companies to view or use these email addresses.
Security
All personal information submitted to Myclublink by Users is protected by the secure registration details and user-created passwords submitted by the User. Users can remove or change any information they wish by accessing our Settings icon and following the instructions. Myclublink will always ensure that members account information is kept private and secure. We use reasonable measures to protect member information that is stored within our database, and we restrict access to member information to those employees who need access to perform their job functions, such as our customer service personnel and technical staff. Please note that we cannot guarantee the security of member account information. Unauthorized entry or use, hardware or software failure, and other factors may compromise the security of member information at any time.
Sharing and Disclosure of Information
Myclublink will only ever disclose personal information about its Users to trusted third party companies and/or if that disclosure is legally required, needed to enforce our Terms of Use and protect our rights and/or to protect the safety of our users and/or the public. Myclublink reserves the right to transfer personal information to a successor in interest that acquires rights to that information as a result of the sale of Myclublink or substantially all of its assets to that successor in interest. Other
This Agreement is accepted upon your use of the Myclublink Site or any of the Myclublink Services and is affirmed by You becoming a User of the Site. The Privacy Policy constitutes the Agreement between You and Myclublink regarding the use of the Site. Any failure of Myclublink to enforce any provision or right of this Privacy Policy shall not constitute as any waiver of such provisions or rights. The titles within the Privacy Policy are for convenience sake only and have no legal or contractual effect. If any Privacy Policy is unlawful, void or unenforceable, that policy is deemed severable from this Agreement and does not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions.
